Oppika is an online service used to assess students’ ICT skills and the ways in which they use information and communications technology. The service includes a survey for students, who will receive immediate feedback on their own competence once they finish it.

For teachers: Instructions for setting up the service and generating survey keys are available through the ‘Teacher’ link in the top left-hand corner of the page.

This service has been developed as part of the Opeka and Oppika research project funded by the Finnish National Agency for Education, which involves the Cities of Tampere, Espoo, Helsinki, Hämeenlinna, Jyväskylä, Turku and Vantaa. The research has also received funding from the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities. Technical service implementation and research are the responsibility of the Tampere Research Centre for Information and Media (TRIM) at the University of Tampere.
